Words of Wisdom

I have been collecting beautiful quotes for many years. The wisdom of great souls and minds can inspire us, teach us, and remind us to keep reaching toward that greatness of spirit, that expanse of love that lies within each and every one of us.....

"Courage is the most important of all the virtues, because without courage you can't practice any other virtue consistently. You can practice any virtue erratically, but nothing consistently without courage."

  1. My dearest, your choice of quotes is perfect for this day...this new day of restarting the daily DEVOIR of chipping away at the dream and carving out the vision. Every single quote here has moved me her...Marcel Proust's quote especially. I am swimming out to deep waters, far deeper than anyone in my family ever thought of, and sometimes distance voices of doubt call to me from ashore, but I will keep swimming to the horizon of my dreams, because is would be a tragedy to never have sailed towards the sun for at least a glimpse of what is possible!

MERCI POUR CES MOTS QUI ME TOUCHENT BIEN!!! Anita

  2. Dear Irina
There are so many words of uplifting and encouraging wisdom in you post that I simply cannot comment on them all. But the one that stood out to me most was: "The time for action is now. It's never too late to do something."
    Antoine de Saint-Exupery

It seems I started everything late: began college some 9 nine years after high school, etc. But I have come to learn that late is better than never. I am finally taking action in the pursuit of an old dream. Now it is courage (Angelou) that will see the dream to its fulfillment.

    Thank you
    Ruben

  3. Precious friend, thank you for visiting this morning; what a lovely day here, isn't it? The art work you have found is magnificent and I am even going to try my hand today at watercolors...something I have not done in years.

BONNE JOURNÉE and may this week be one of rejuvenation and peace. Anita
